Nugget Ice

SoftQubeTM nugget ice provides a softer, chewable

texture while still providing maximum cooling effect.

Small nugget ice is approximately 3/10" X 3/10" X 1/2"

SoftQube nugget ice is produced with SN-12 and SN-20

countertop ice maker and dispenser models and with

SN-450, and SN-650 high volume, modular, ice machine

with storage bin models. An 83% ice to water ratio

makes nugget ice hard enough to be dispensed

without hand-scooping.

SoftQubeTM Nugget Ice Machines

SN-Series countertop SoftQubeTM nugget ice maker and

dispenser delivers the largest daily ice production levels

and storage capacities within the smallest footprint.

Dispensing functions include: ice only, water only,

or ice and water. Choose lever activation or touchless

dispensing. Features include a lighted dispensing

chute, 10.5" clearance and a large drain pan.

Countertop Nugget Ice Maker/Dispenser

Manitowoc offers traditional flake ice.

Flake ice is small, hard bits of ice.

Manitowoc’s flake ice machine is

a result of a collaboration with the

highly respected German-based ice

machine manufacturer, Ziegra (Z-gra)

Eismaschinen. Ziegra has specialized

in the manufacture of ice machines

since 1957 and has sold their

equipment to more than

140 countries.

Manitowoc models feature the

highest degree of engineering of any

flaker system available on the market

and include a

German engineered

stainless steel

evaporator; double

bearing support

of the auger

which reduces

maintenance and

prolongs the life of the internal

components; a split collar evaporator

support and aligned draft coupling to

improve water seal and

bearing reliability.

The flake ice machine

model (QF) produces up to

760 pounds (345 kgs.) of daily

ice production and is available

with air-cooled or water-cooled

condenser. Models also include

Manitowoc’s built in patented

cleaning and sanitizing technology.

Flake ice machine models do not

have stack-on capability.

Additional flake ice machine models

include a smaller QF-400 capacity

self-contained

undercounter

model, up to

395 pounds

(179 kgs.),

and a larger

QF-2300

capacity

modular series with up to

2,150 pounds (975 kgs.) of

daily ice production.
